Had him for a divorce attorney. I did win the majority of what I was seeking. However, with that said, he was communicative, etc. at the start and as the case went on I couldn't get a returned phone call when I needed him most during the most critical part of my case. Filings and motions were done many weeks after they should have been done, which resulted in continuances and unwarranted delays. One shouldn't have to make an appointment and miss work to come into the office and handle what could have been accomplished on a 5 minute phone call. I do think he knows the legal environment, but his client commitment struggles due to high case load and lack of support staff in the office.

Attorney Lanzo is professional and cares about his clients. He has handled several family matters for us and all have been a positive experience. His staff is always friendly and well informed; we would never consider going elsewhere.

I've known this lawyer for quite some time & he always handles everyone's cases efficiently. The below reviews are just people that are scorned because they didn't win. He is a very busy attorney with a large caseload but tries his best to connect with every client and he always made me feel confident with my case and taken care of. I've watched him win several cases and have multiple happy clients. If you drove by (which is creepy,) and saw that his car was here, he was most likely in with appointments and wasn't taking phone calls. Maybe think of that next time you stalk an attorney.

i got nothing to show for my money i paid him. i done some research and found out that he is facebook friends with alot of my ex friends. goes to show you. you can not trust no one. do your research on him before you hire him i wish i had.

James E Lanzo is a weak lawyer. i paid him alot of money and he did nothing for me.For what i paid him i could have done on my own. He was never available and was always out of the office but yet do a drive by and his car was always in the parking lot. Do your homework before hiring this company. Make sure they are not friends or facebook friends with the party you have a complaint against...you will lose.

Attorney Lanzo's incompetence was like a punch to the gut. I was misled by a used car salesman with a law degree. 2 times I was notified about court dates 6pm and 8pm the night before court, his staff do not remember customers because records were constantly misplaced. He was never available because of court, but his car was in the parking lot over 5 times. Mislead with a promise to eliminate my back child support because he found a over payment on support. I told him that was not the case, and he knew the law. $1000 later we had to drop our case because he never read my file till the night before the hearing. But never told me till I drove all the way to Canton and missed school. He rips off disabled Veterans. I ask for a refund and got a bill from the court for $250, because he kept the extra $500 for court costs. I have everything documented and am filing with the Mahoning Bar Association. One Word "SCUMBAG" I have to give him a star to be able to give my opinion, but he didn't earn it.

Attorney Lanzo was a breath of fresh air. When you go to an Attorney you need someone that makes you feel comfortable and positive, that things will be taken care of. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone with any problems or business that needs handled. He is excellent. He represented me and I was very happy.
