Finally a Mexican restaurant with many vegan options and they are all delicious!! The staff is always friendly and attentive every visit and some even understand what vegan means so you don't have to explain. The prices are very reasonable as well and the hot salsa is delicious!

Many a times, proper signage and a well trained and caring staff, including intelligent management can quickly avert a simple problem or misunderstanding ... unfortunately this was not one of those times.

What was to be a simple quiet dinner out during a mild rainy evening on Thursday, May 14, 2014 with a family member and a close friend at a place I have visited on more than a casual basis, turned into a regrettable decision. As in past visits, upon entering the restaurant, my brother and myself seated ourselves at the first available booth in sight. Both of us have mobility issues. We were accompanied by a very good family friend from Orlando who had never been to this restaurant. She excused herself to use the restroom. I was engaged in conversation with him when our server introduced herself and without skipping a breath immediately told us that we could not remain seated at our chosen location because it was reserved for parties of six. She pointed to another booth which could accommodate up to a party of four and bluntly told us, "I can't let you have this table." I pointed out to her that the three of us were somewhat substantial in size and would appreciate it if she would let stay. The restaurant was in no way near half full and ample seating for any number of parties were readily available, including a corner booth that could easily seat six or more people. There was no signage on our table with a requirement limiting the minimum number people. The server's lack of social tact and repeated reluctance to serve us quickly escalated to a request to speak with the manager. Annoyed, my brother questioned her if she would prefer we just left and took our business elsewhere. A man who appeared to be the manager approached and rebuffed us with a response confirming our option of staying or leaving and dining elsewhere. Realizing that it would be pointless to argue, we vacated the booth and exited the restaurant, hesitating only long enough to await our friend's return before driving off. To our good fortune, this experience prompted us to visited a newer upscale Latin inspired eatery nearby which had been highly recommended to us by others on previous occasions. We definitely were not disappointed with the food, service, atmosphere and choice of seating location there.

Could all of this be handled better? Definitely. Proper signage would have alleviated any doubt to any customer where to sit. Having a greeter who would also seat customers instead of leaving it up to their patrons to chose where to sit would have been another. Training the staff including management how to be more accommodating, reasonable and socially conscientious would have been a definite plus.

I ate at this restraunt in June of 2012. The service was fair, the food was horrible. I had a chicken burrito and the chicken was shredded and soaked in grease. My wife got a chicken quesedilla and for the first time i actually saw what a soup sandwich looked like. I will not return.

My husband and I have been to ...

My husband and I have been to Salsa's a few times and have never had a complaint. The servers there are very nice and if something is not to your liking they try to fix it for you. The food is pretty good, there are some things that are great and some things you wished you didn't order, but that is at any restaurant. The atmosphere is really nice and they have outside seating which I love!
