Vince is a scam artist. If yo...

Vince is a scam artist. If you somehow ignore the multiple reviews that he has taken money from someone and then abandoned them or did not show up, then just make sure you do not give him money up front. Here is what happened:

1. I signed a daycare contract with Vince on November 25, 2011. In this contract it states that Vince will provide daycare for my dog Monday-Friday with a pickup time between 9-10am and a drop off time between 4-5pm for the discounted rate of $400 per month (even though it says $440 on his web page).

2. In December, he took 2 days off for the holiday, even though he was already paid the $400 for services.

3. Between the months of January-April, he did not show up for 7 additional days. 4 of these days, he did not text or call to let me know that he was not going to make it. Each day had already been paid for in advance.

4. There was only one day in which Vince arrived on time.

5. On March 31, I received a text message stating that he could no longer offer the discounted rate of $400 dollars, he needed to charge me $440. On April 2, I gave Vince a check for $400 and told him that if he honored our contract for the next two weeks that I would give him the remaining $40. The first week of April, he showed up on April 2, 3, and 5, but not April 4 and 6.

6. Since Vince had missed so many days, I asked him to do two overnight stays while I was out of town. This would have made up for the money that he owed me due to missing his day care contracted days. Those two overnights were April 8-9. Regular daycare would take place on April 10. On April 10, I received a text message from Vince stating that it would be $70 for the boarding plus the other $40 that he needed for the day care.

7. I sent Vince an email detailing our contract, all of the money exchanged, and the breakdown of all breaches that were made. I have not heard from him since April 11, which he told me that he would no longer provide day care. I have not received any money back, including the money that was prepaid for the month of April.

So, even though Vince provided 5 days of day care and 2 nights of boarding in the month of April, he has kept $400 from me. That is not even looking at the other breaches of contract listed above. If you want to save the money needed to take him to court, I would strongly recommend you find someone else that does not have a listed history of not showing up for appointments or completing the job required of him.
