This is one of the stand out restaurants in Boulder Co. Found out about it on opentable.com where it makes many top ten lists. My wife and I have dined here several times and always been stoked. Menu items are creative and well executed. Freshness and quality of ingredients is simply not found at other Longmont eateries. The owners are usually there, friendly and approachable. This is a bonus for us. Glad t have this joint in the neighborhood

My favorite Longmont restaurant

I can't believe this restaurant has only 2 stars on dexKnows. I love this restaurant. The food is fabulous, and the owners are warm, wonderful hosts. Their happy hour drinks and appetizers are delicious and a great value. Yes, this is an adult restaurant. If your children are unable to sit quietly and enjoy conversation and complex food, this is not the place to bring them. They won't enjoy themselves and you will ruin everyone else's meal as well. In response to the first review, it is my opinion that Terroir doesn't hold a candle to Sugar Beet.

Not family friendly

Overpriced. Poor service with kids. Rushed and shushed.

Nice people and a good menu. I'm proud to see development in what was once a blighted part of Longmont. They're doing well and adding exciting stuff to their menu.

what's cook'n'

So what is the hype here? It has a rep for a superb pkace to eat. Tne free bread was the best thing going for this overpriced lack luster food. The wine was well, over priced for the portion as well as poor temp. for serving much to hot, making the finish harsh. The Baked peach gazpacho was no more then blended salsa with a finish of some peppers, what a let down. The swiss chard side dish was only to be eaten with the atrichoke aside or it was to bitter to eat. The main dish was tastey but the rest left this place flat. If I was to return every place in town would have to be full. a last choice.

Better than other Longmont restaurants, but could be better

This was a nice place, but not for the price. Terroir on Main St. is much better compared to this place. They need to kick it up a notch (flavor was kind of subpar). Vegetarian options were unimaginative. My dining companions were unimpressed with their meals as well. It was just OK. If you are fine with "standard" Longmont cuisine, this place will suit you fine. But I can't justify the taste/quality of the food here in relationship to the price to actually come back (unless someone else is paying!).
