Disappointed!

I've eaten at Pimon Thai on numerous occassions and it was always delicious with speedy service. I was, however, disappointed when my boyfriend and I went there to eat last night. We arrived around 8:50 which was slightly inconvenient for the workers and i felt as though they were rushing us. I ordered a dish that was supposed to include "thin rice noodles" but instead i was given wide noodles that were all stuck together and very crunchy! The texture was like eating corn chips! My dish was also supposed to include "sprouts" which were missing from my dish! :( I was very disappointed in Pimon Thai.

Still GOOD but not GREAT!

I agree with a previous rater that for some reason the food has not kept up with their past! Besides the quality also the quantity has fallen short. We ordered a favorite dish and found out that a bowl was made with foil that was bowed in the middle and stuffed to mimic a larger serving. Before the flavors in a dish were authentic and welcoming, now it's mediocre. Very disappointing!

True Reviews

I have now visited all three Thai restaurants in Lafayette and now want to pass on my findings. The best by far is Pimon Thai Restaurant, followed by Bankok Thai Restaurant. A distant follower is Thai Cuisine which is only for those buffet chasers. I have always been pleased with whatever Pimon Thai has to offer me.

I have never had Thai food unt...

I have never had Thai food until I have been blessed in knowning the owners of Phimon Thai, never once have I or any of my guess has been unhappy in what we have ordered. All my out of guess always makes it a point to have dinner there when they are in town. The food is fresh and always made to order, which is something you can not find in most places.
