Clinic location is convenient and clean. Staff was polite and professional although they were dealing with phones and computers being down at no fault of anyone.
My appointment was scheduled at 1:00. I arrived about 12:50. The receptionist commented they didn’t open til 1:00. I should have asked why did you tell me to come in at 12:45 to complete paperwork???
Nurse was great and thorough, explained things well.
The physician, Dr. Gibbons, is the purpose of this review. The nurse is the only reason I give a 3-star review verses 1.
Upon entering the room, the doctor gave no introduction, no shaking the hand, no “how are you today.” NOTHING.
He asked a couple questions, commented, “this is the worse paper file I have ever seen.” (computers still down)
As he listened to heartbeat and checked throat, NO comment. Sat down to write a couple things on script pad. No explanation, NO instructions. I had to ask if prescriptions or over the counter.
Because my throat is killing me, I asked if he thought it was strep. His comment, “typically strep doesn’t have drainage but we can test it if you want?” REALLY????
I asked him to check my thyroid because of certain symptoms I am dealing with. He checked my neck but NO comment or feedback. REALLY????
As he exited the room…NO comments, NO “have a nice day,” NO “I hope you feel better,” NO “If you have any concerns, please call,” NO “thank you,” NO NOTHING. REALLY????
I am terribly disheartened. Waste of time. Clearly, Dr. Gibbons is not seeking to build his clientele as he treats his practice as for walk-ins as he had no concern, to say the least.
SAD.

I called this clinic asking for an emergency appointment because I needed help with my depression and it had gotten to the point where I was scared i couldn't handle it on my own. They made me one for that same afternoon but I called to tell them I was going to be a few min late and they told me they would no longer see me and I needed to make a different appointment for a different day. It is hard for someone with anxiety and depression to reach out for help, five min is no excuse to turn them away. I will never go back to this place.
