Loving Care!!!!

My Mom came here with chest pain and they were very proactive and while I was signing her in at EMR a nurse went out with a wheel chair brought her inside and started checking on her health!!
They were very attentive and moved quickly to get her in to see the ER doctor.
She had to be hospitalized and have testing done. They have taken excellent care of her each and everyday!!!
Thank You so very much for all of your wonderful care for my mom!!

Horrible Birth Experiance!!!

I gave birth to my daughter at this hospital 16 months ago and to be honest we didn't have a very good experiance. Several of the labor and delivery nurses were extremely rude and did not listen to my wants or needs. They did things without letting me know what was going on. I have intervention after intervention that caused me to have a very tramadic birthing experiance in the end.

Then the nursery nurses were NOT helpful with breastfeeding at all! When I toured the L&D and Post Partum floor I was assured that the nurses were very knowledgable about breastfeeding. They were no where near knowledgable. I had several nurses push formula on me even though I repeadedly told them that I was exclusively breastfeeding. One nurse even changed my daughters chart to say that that she was BOTH breastfed and formula fed! Then I found out on the day we were going home that on my daughters second day of life they gave her a bottle of glucos water without my permission.

I also had a nurse on the post partum floor that asked me if I could check my own uterus because she didn't know how to. NO I AM NOT JOKING! Overall I had a bad L&D experiance there so next time I am looking into a home birth. Bottom line, my doctor was great but the hospital was horrible. If you want a natural birth experiance without interventions and plan on breastfeeding DO NOT deliver at presby! The have a great LC on staff now but all the bad things out way the one good thing! Labor is not a medical emergency! DO NOT make someone turn your birth experiance into one!

Then when my daughter was 7 days old we were told to take her to the E.R. because of jaudice and we had to wait in the E.R. waiting room with a 7 day old baby for 6 hours. We then waited in the room for another 3. All to be told some incredibly wrong information. My husband left several messages for the hospital administrator but our calls were NEVER returned.

I do NOT recommend this hospital!
