We have a classic car in need of repairs. We were adamant about our $2k budget. We never received a written estimate (I believe there are laws requiring a written estimate). However, we were told they could keep the work we were requesting within the $2k budget we had designated. Our $2k budget ended up being a $4500 bill. Their excuses were plenty - it took more time than we expected, we had to pay two guys to perform the work, if I called for every increase, I'd be calling every day. They performed the work well above our designated budget without any communication whatsoever, and then put us in a compromising position to pay a final bill exceeding 100% of our agreed budget. Unethical. It gets better. We pick up the car and fill up with gas. What happens now? The new gas tank, which we just paid for, leaks all over the ground. We returned it so they could fix their error. What next? They then have the audacity to charge us for labor to fix their installation error!

I am very pleased with the quality of work and price that I received from Authentic Automotive. I was involved in an accident with an uninsured motorist and ended up paying for the repair myself and we happy they were able to repair my car with aftermarket parts making the price cheaper. My car was done when they told me it would be, was washed and the blend was perfect. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs automotive repairs, body or mechanical, as they are members of the Better Business Bureau and are honest.
